TRUMP AND PUTIN IN FIRST FACE TO FACE MEETING.
Perhaps you’d like to purchase this clarinet ligature and mouthpiece cap.

Well, for you, that’s so close, yet so far, right?

LOL. No, really, I laughed out loud at that.

One of my 11-year-olds is starting to play clarinet, and I had to buy some equipment for him. That’s why it’s there. But it’s still an absurd combination. I understand targeted advertising, but I hate it, and it’s stupid that they are recommending something that you’ve already purchased.

Thanks to you, I accidentally spit out my iced coffee from laughing.
Well done.

Exactly this. Everytime I buy something, I get flooded with ads for THAT EXACT THING! I swear, I only needed 1. If I needed two, I would have selected 2.

Targeted ads should have a button that says “I Already F**cking Bought It From Someone Else.”

I’m being laid off, and somehow got a targeted ad on facebook for jobs at another company 200 yards from where I currently am. I mean none of the jobs they have are suitable, but still it’s creepy.

That is super creepy. Sorry about your job. That sucks.

That stuff creeps me out. I was writing an email to a friend who also deeply loves turbo Audi 5 cylinders, and what shows up in an ad bar? “AUDI 5 CYLINDER PERFORMANCE” or something to that effect. Uhh, what? Ours is a fairly obscure interest, how the hell did the Googles know that?!?

Google knows everything. Something like 90% of all internet traffic goes t through Google servers. And they mine every bit of it, I’m sure.

Its OK, It’s sacrificing a profit making British based subsidiary of an American company to save American job’s temporarily by moving everything, it happens sadly. Our employment laws are a bit more employee friendly, there’s a 30 day consultation period as they are laying off more than 20 (61 out of 69) then the final arrangements will be made and we will find out how much longer we have employment then we’ll get redundancy pay. I’m surprisingly calm about it.

As they say, when one door closes another one opens.

Exactly, I’m young enough for companies to want to invest in me, I’m a mechanical engineer in his mid-20s with a few years experience, I’m definitely employable.
